The
Process
The
team building process begins
with an assessment of how
the team is currently
performing and what they
need to develop to become a
more highly functioning
team. An action plan that is
uniquely suited to that
team’s needs is created and
the work begins. Team
building is not an event,
but a process, so the work
often takes place over
several sessions. The
process includes built in
accountability between
sessions so that members of
team can try out and assess
new working behaviors. The
team building continues for
as long as the group is
making progress on their
action plan and seeing the
results of their efforts.
